What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

A "source quench" is an informal name for an ICMP message used to tell a node on the network to send more slowly to a particular host or router.

The story of how I got that as a nickname isn't funny or dirty; just prosaic. It involved my pleading for quality over quantity on a particular BBS. (Find an old person and ask them to explain what a "BBS" is.)
