What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

It has nothing to do with the TV show.

I wrote a little piece for my college literary magazine that began 'Once upon a time there was a story..." It got rejected. But I loved it.

Also I read a lot of Terry Pratchett and kind of like his big theories about the power of narrative to shape how we think and see ourselves, and as a source of meaning.
