What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

whorl is a curious word, rarely used and close to something offensive in spelling though not in pronunciation. A LOT LIKE ME.

pretty disappointed with this site right now. may return if/when it stops preventing conversations the vocal majority disagrees with from taking place via the delete button. that's not a good and fair internet community; that's not the place i lurked for years and finally signed up for. get better mefi
