They had a blood drive at my daughter's high school today. She just came home and informed me her blood pressure was 64 over 40 when they took it-and that her sister's was 70 over something or other. Mine is 100 over 60, and that's low enough-do I need to rush these kids to a doctor, or was the person taking the blood pressure in need of a job change?

We are having an antiwar rally here in Fayetteville tomorrow...and of course there will be a counterrally as well. My question to you all is this: We have been told that we are not allowed to carry signs larger than 2 feet by 2 feet-which is smaller than the average size poster board. Have any of you ever participated in a protest and been restricted in such a manner? (this is by police order, and I am rather stunned.)

After perusing bluehammer's question regarding his inlaws and his computer, it made me onder-is there any source online that would walk the average naive computer user thru some of these basic solutions to problems-and in some cases point out the problems in the first place? When my insurance (COBRA) ends in March, what can I do? Private insurance is prohibitively expensive, and chances are with my preexisting health problems I may not be able to get insurance at all. Worst part is my monthly prescriptions are extremely expensive-we are talking the price of a car payment here, if not more.

How hard would it be to have a way to keep track of threads you are particularly interested in but have not posted in? I use the pulldown feature to keep track of my commented threads, but there are other threads that I would enjoy keeping up with-problem is I forget about them.
I guess I had in mind something like a checkoff box or something. Would this be hard to do?
(please don't suggest I comment in these threads too. I blab enough around here as it is.)
