What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

Apparently I have found a partner. Through MetaFilter, no less. And she's nuts about me and my weirdness, and I'm totally smitten by her beautiful nerdiness, too.

I wasn't expecting this at all, but it's a miracle.

3-11-2015:

Leave it to me to abandon my apartment and 99% of my stuff to set off on an non-defined endless bike tour of doom to end up employed, gentrified and apparently re-rooted.

I went from functionally if adventurously homeless to employed and facility keyholder to performing music and listed locally and even mentioned in the local paper in less than 3-4 months in a place I like very much, all while learning to start to really accept myself and work with what I've got.

Apparently I have to do everything backasswards, but that figures.

I am doing remarkably well and keeping my life pretty simple and in a good place. Hope you are too.




Number of cigarettes smoked since switching to an e-cig on october 16th, 2013: less than two! Puffed on one on NYE and nearly threw up. Rolled one at friends wedding jan 25th to see if I could, managed less than half of it before throwing it away and happily going back to my ecig.

Assuming they don't ban ecigs, I am officially an ex smoker. I'm not even tempted. I like being able to breathe and smell again. In fact, it looks totally bizarre to me to see smoking in film, or on the street like "wtf are you doing putting burning shit in your face!?"
