The nick is a tomwaitsian pun for a hero of the 21st century.
I could go on and on about Robocop and Romeo as Christ figures, but I think my own brain would leap out my ears to throttle myself to shut me up. Besides, my pet rabbit's name is
Robocop. And he's totally a hero.
This is not to discount the heroism of the other two rabbits,
Captain Grendel Anne Bunny and
Doctor Beef Wellington, MD. Every day, Doctor Beef saves lives and Grendel, well... she sleeps a lot, which I guess is some form of groundbreaking performance art.
I live in the Boston area with my
wife and the rabbits. The human among us practice on the very fringes of library science. They called us mad in library school! But we shall show them! Show them all the might of our Amazing Atomic Cataloging Ray!
