What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

I don't know if there's much to say. I'm 28 and after ten years of being royally messed up by a bad Hep B vaccine I'm trying to start my life again. I enrolled in one of the city colleges in January of 2007 and even though I'm having trouble with degenerating discs (completely unrelated to the vaccine) I'm still marching on thanks to hybrid classes! That and the crazy good support of my girlfriend.

I might post things that are a little off and such. Please forgive them. The pain medication I'm on is not fun and sometimes makes life not fun for others! Very rarely but it's still there.

The username is just a play on @Home which was the ISP I had when I signed up on MeFi.
