What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

When I was young, we lived in Canada and everyone called me Dah-na. When I was 11, we moved to the US and everyone started calling me Day-na. My college financial aid counsellor asked, "Are you sure it's not Day-na?" I told her I'd call my mom and check. We didn't have cell phones back then, so I couldn't do it right in front of her.

Anyhow, "It rhymes with banana" is something I say a lot. Or used to say, when I was meeting lots of people. And Dana Banana was a childhood nickname. I guess that's the simpler version of the story.
