I was on kim cascone's "microsound" mailing list, and a friend of mine and i decided to act out a little. It wasn't too bad, but kim asked us to stop and then, suddenly, I wasn't on the list any more. The other person involved said later that I had been "casconed!" and I picked it up as a nickname/exclaimation of surprise.
