What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
The nickname is from a chemicial dye called nile red, and at the time I had very red hair, so it seemed to fit, and it was something I ran into everyday, so the name started to sound more common, to me anyways.
After a really terrible 2009 involving a lot of thesis stress and also deaths of many people I was quite close to, I sortof quit the internet, moved to Korea, stopped talking to anyone and stopped keeping up with every habit I had that wasn't brushing teeth or making necessary money to live on. It's 7 years later and I've been kicking around America, working to put myself back together again.
I'm somewhat better now...and more internet-y again.
