What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
If you're wondering what "this will wendell" or "this will not wendell" means, you're not alone. But it's not hard to figure when you know that 'wendell' is an anagram for "end well". Now, substitute the 'end well' for the 'wendell', slap yourself on the forehead and say "D'oh!"
As for the name itself, I have been using Wendell Wittler as my pen/stage/air name since College Radio, over 30 years ago (yes, I am that old). The last name is legally mine, the first is just humorously alliterative. Could've gone with Wilbur, Wolfgang or Wink, but went with Wendell.
Remember, 50% of what I say is totally frivolous, but that's just to get you to pay attention to the other 50%.
Since the incident where I showed a rather cavalier attitude toward 'private' email addresses, I willingly take my own medicine and tell the world that I am accessible at wendellwit@gmail.com and wendell@wendellwit.com... have at me.
