If you're wondering what "this will wendell" or "this will not wendell" means, you're not alone. But it's not hard to figure when you know that 'wendell' is an anagram for "end well". Now, substitute the 'end well' for the 'wendell', slap yourself on the forehead and say "D'oh!"
As for the name itself, I have been using Wendell Wittler as my pen/stage/air name since College Radio, over 30 years ago (yes, I am that old). The last name is legally mine, the first is just humorously alliterative. Could've gone with Wilbur, Wolfgang or Wink, but went with Wendell.
