Nickname from handle I chose when I BBS'd back in High School.
Started BBSing at 2400bps on a Mac Classic, at first with a terminal that didn't even have ANSI. Eventually upgraded to an Acer/Acros 486DX/2 (Sweeeet) and ran my own board with some friends, "The Wormhole" (218).
Started using the internet a little bit in high school, 1995 or so, then the web on a regular basis in college in '96.
Anyone else remember all those great "Doors"? BRE? SRE? LORD? Usurper? And although it wasn't quite a door, VGA Planets.
