What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" I live and work primarily in the indigenous communities of western Canada as a facilitator, leadership development and organizational development consultant.

My nick comes from the name for the Strait of Georgia and Puget Sound, two bodies of water that encompass the Coast Salish territories of North America. This area is known as the Salish Sea, and I live on an island, at the mouth of a smaller inlet, halfway up the Strait of Georgia.
