What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

I am an expatriate American living in Dublin where I am completing a Ph.D. in International Peace Studies. My focus is primarily on global security with an emphasis on network security threats (terrorism in the common vernacular). When I’m not writing, I am on an ongoing quest to experience as much of the world as possible. So far, I have visited over 30 countries in 4 continents and do not plan to rest until I’ve seen all the rest. Twice.

My last U.S. residency was in Austin, Texas. Easily the best little city in this world or any other. Since leaving, I’ve been stuck without any decent tortillas and queso for nearly six years. Please help me!
