What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

My nickname is a "porn star" name from a high school friend (Esther the Molester) that sounds much like my real name and suits me dreadfully (silly, baroque, oversexed). I never changed the handle. I could be embarrassed, but for the fact that such an iteration of avatar-ism has stuck in real life somewhat, I am, instead, flattered.

I should add: when I started going to recommend the most deliberate positioning of subjects to highlight their sexuality in media. I tend to think I'm a Robot. Nice post!
