What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

I've used "Xoder" since freshman year of high school. At the time I was looking to name a character for a live-action Vampire: The Masquerade game. (I LARP-ed much more in high school than I do now. In fact, I don't anymore. That is OK with me.) I was looking for a character name, but feeling uninspired. Enter Biology class with its Redox reactions (you may already see where I'm going with this). The teacher put a reaction on the board "backwards" with the oxidation side on the left, and re-dubbed that reaction an "Ox-red" reaction. I said to myself, "That's not an 'Ox-red' reaction, that's a 'Xoder' reaction!"
