About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
Humannaire came about while I was writing my astronauts instruction manual for kids. What I wanted was a unique term, something other than astronaut, something further and beyond. Because even while I was talking about space travel, the whole concept I was working with was unique ie astronauts return to planet earth. Humannaires live will live out in space. Humannaires will live off planet.
So "humannaire" is to mean "the group of people who are to become the advance guard of earth's humankind's exploration and venturing out into space."
It's a combination of the terms human and legionnaires (that legendary French-based extra-military outfit who are comprised of international members and distinguished from from all other groups, and are largely out there unto themselves).
I chose humannaire as my user name because it is more than who I am: Humannaire is what I am living to be.
