What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
I really like the last name, "Saint." It has a good ring to it and plenty of pious connotations. However, since signing up with Metafilter, I have noticed a bit of a problem with the name, "Ms. Saint." The two S sounds in a row lead to some unfortunate pronunciation problems. Either one can slur the two s's together, yielding "msssaint," or one can noticeably separate the two. The first option sounds regrettably like "Ms. Ain't" and the second sounds far too pompous. It's a horrible, horrible choice.
So, for any of you out there who are equally dismayed by this predicament when trying to address me, I hereby offer you my alternative nickname: SuperTigerJetPack to the MAXX!
