About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
The first website I visited was the website for M&M's, using Prodigy's dial-up service.
I've always felt like the Internet (and by this I mean the Real Internet, the place where people talk to other people that they otherwise do not know, and where people post pictures of cats and doges and videos of double rainbow discoveries) is a place for freaks, and I don't think that's ever going to change (at least I hope that never changes). Also, a wise researcher once said: "I am not sure that I know what the Internet is; I am not sure that anyone does" (Costigan, 1999).
