What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

Hi! I don't talk a lot, but I'm pretty much always hanging around.

Username! Okay, so when I was, like, 12 years old, my favorite TV show was Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. (It's still pretty far up there.) I especially liked the character of Michael Eddington, the Starfleet security officer who became an operative for the Maquis. During the same period, I was reading Catch-22 for the first time, and enjoying the hell out of it. (Again, still a favorite.)

So, Maquis + Yossarian = my first username, which I kept because I still like it, and because nobody else has it.
