What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
In nearly all circles I travel in, I go by the name James. On a whim nearly a decade ago, I decided to try out "Jimmy". After introducing myself as Jimmy for a month, I decided it wasn't for me, but it had stuck.
My mentor/lifecoach/generally wonderful person made fun of my split names by calling me JimmyJames. She passed away a few months ago, and I found myself using the tag JimmyJames on most of my online tags because it reminds me of her.

I'm a sociology major at UCSC finishing my senior year. When I'm not studying Sociology I run a pirates camp at Stanford University during the summer.
