Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
In 1997, I started college and got my first email address. They let you pick what you wanted at the time (they don't at this school anymore). I chose drezdn because it looked cool, sounded cool, and seemed to have an ambiguity about it.
Aside from a bit of German heritage in my blood, I don't really have any connection the city the name phonetically spells.
