What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" I have never been given a nickname in all my life.
My user/email was assigned to me 18 years ago by BGSU - cimbrog@bgsuvax.bgsu.edu. I joined an online writing community where everyone had kewl nicknames like Badger, Ricochet and Mean Mr.Mustard. I was just Chad. Then someone listed all the members of the group with their nicknames. I was listed as Chad "Cimbrog" Imbrogno. At that point, I decided that this was fate - I now had a nickname: cimbrog.
