About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
I'm a television graphic designer and illustrator.
A few years ago I completed an autobiographical comic called "Detached," about my experience as a visual artist, being suddenly diagnosed with a detached retina, and about the fear of blindness, as well as the doubts and images of doom that go through one's head when one experiences this (well, in my head, anyway...).
Detached was my very first comic, at the ripe old age of 45. The final printed version is available here.
I also produce a weekly comic for Atlanta's Sunday Paper.>
