I intend to start posting under the name Zettai now.
"Zettai" is Japanese; it means "absolutely not" or "no way!"
I used to be Wiremommy, taking the name from my
previous personal site, which was named after the
psychological experiments of Harry Harlow in which infant monkeys were fed by mother-figures made of wire.
Now my main weblog is located at
Signal Station, so I decided to shed the Wiremommy name here at Metafilter as well.
Too many people assumed I was a mother based on the Wiremommy name. It bugged me, so I'm changing it.
