What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
The nickname is a new one, made because I wanted something creative after seeing other MeFi names that weren't the usual forum nicks. I've been thinking about this before signing up, because I obsess over words like that. I happened to read a slashdot.org post where someone stretching a story and equated photographers to "filthy light thieves," I was happy. I've since lost the slashdot post, so thank you to that forgotten wordsmith =)
I like photography, and constantly carry a little Canon DigiElph, which is much easier than the larger ProShot Gx series. I usually take pictures non-people, because people tend to move too much, and dislike the fact you're trying to capture some ephemeral light and not so much them at their best. I also like music quite a bit, but I'll stop with that.
