About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
HannoverFist is a direct theft from the 80's movie "Heavy Metal": He was the simpering, simpleton witness called in to testify at the trial of one Captain Stern ( accused of, among other things, selling dope disguised as a nun). Poor Hannover was turned into an evil rampaging brute who destroys half of a space station and is ultimately done in by his own greed by the slick Stern.
Yah, I feel like that poor guy all the time.
Me - I'm an "Engineer" for one-a-them Cellular Telephone companies, working on large systems and databases. I'm as old as Unix and apparently as user friendly.
