FBI Currently storming Copley Hotel (Streaming Windows Media) I am truly amazed at the speed at which this investigation is unfolding.

Unfolding quickly could be good. However, don't forget Richard Jewell and TWA 800.

A subject has been arrested. An ambulance has been brought to the scene, but reporters do not know whom for. The FBI are also at a hotel in nearby Chestnut Hill.

There are some reports that the people being arrested are not actual suspects but people "materially related" to the attacks.

Makes you think... are these arrests genuinely related to the massive NYC/Washington terrorist attacks or are the US security forces just looking for scapegoats?

And given how quickly these arrests are being made, did the FBI/ CIA have background intelligence on the terrorists' plans before the planes brought down the World Trade Center?

Given that this is truly the most vicious attack on our Country in history, do you really think the Government would want to wrap this up quickly, without much regard for whether or not they got the 'right people'?

That's only a couple of blocks from here. How weird does the world have to be where I can see a report like that and start wondering when the shock wave from a blast is going to hit?

I'm going to sleep now and when I wake up the WTC will still be standing, wont it?

Considering the mammoth amount of resources being thrown into this investigation, I for one would be rather surprised if things DIDN"T move very quickly here.

does not suprise me. heard reports of SAS in libya, some french intel in Sudan, the news of bin laden in afganistan is suspect to me. I think he is hiding in the open to some degree(has about 10 followers and headed to the hills for a trek)- he would have planned where to go and implemented that....holy shit what if he allows himself to be caught...allows the world to put him on trial....holy crap. that would take the unseen enemy away, allowing the other faces to skip by.(in some ways, take the wind out of the search, thus blunting the one psyc advantage we have (massive, angry resolve) this way, he can say"do cowards give them selves up?-put me on trial"- hey, hes got nothing to lose.

Boston.com is reporting that three people were arrested at the Westin-Copley (site is being hammered right now, so hard to get to link.). Apparently, their credit cards were used to buy tickets on the hijacked flights.

Local media is also reporting that another "how-to-fly-a-jet" manual and "Islamic texts" have been found at the Newton hotel mentioned earlier.

Some of the ones they wanted got away and made it onto an Amtrak train. It was stopped in Connecticut and three more men were arrested and taken off.

The government has a vested interest in wrapping things up quickly, so it can restore order and the illusion that it can protect us. Look how quickly the assassinations of JFK, RFK, and MLK were wrapped up and attributed to the acts of insane loners. (I don't necessarily believe in massive government coverups, but I do believe there are reasonable and unanswered questions about the official explanations of all three assassinations.) Sometimes it's more important to the government or police to apprehend someone--anyone--quickly and declare the case closed than it is to take on a long and difficult investigation. The quick, easy answer isn't always the right one.

In this case I believe you are dead wrong. The FBI isn't that incompetent and they are going to do everything they can to prevent this from happening again. This is MAJOR SHIT. It hardly gets any bigger. And they aren't going to rush to conclusions to satisfy the American People. No Way. Especially now that NATO is in on it.

The assassinations are hardly a good example because we have reason to believe that the Government themselves had something to do with all of them.

do you not find it suspicious that they just so happened to have a how-to-fly-a-jet book on the person? come on, who carries that thing if you are trying to hide or stay hidden?

even a cleaning lady could find it, if it was in the room.

and why would they use their credit cards? that would be the first thing the fbi would choose.
come on people, be a little suspicious of everything in this world like i am, and it becomes a little clearer.
