More of the Human Planet

The BBC nature series, Human Planet, has been mentioned here before. Photographer Timothy Allen traveled with the film crew and has created this audio slideshow.
Allen talks about his subjects and how he took the photos. There's a button "show captions" in the bottom right corner of the image window that's also helpful.

Great slideshow but ... when it comes to the actual series I may be the only person on the planet to feel this way but a) don't think this is as good as most Beeb wildlife documentaries and b) John Hurt is not a very compelling narrator.
He's no Sir David Attenborough.

Very nice. It's great to hear his explanations while examining the photos. Thanks for this.

I sent this out to my staff, who work with at-risk kids that seldom get outside of their neighborhoods...there's a whole world out there that they can't imagine!
thanks for the link!
