My dog (like a lot of dogs) hates skateboards/skateboarders with an intense passion. I think if he saw this video he might explode from sheer rage.

Not animal abuse but an incredible simulation.
Still, when I was a kid, I had a basset hound who had surprising leaping ability for his breed, which he used to jump onto the laps of unsuspecting visitors. (It was much cuter when he was a 15 pound puppy than a 65 pound fully-grown dawg)
But I could imagine him riding one of the humans in that video. Easy.

There's a kennel type place in Berkeley that has a sign that says "Dog and Cat Boarding" and I always imagine this whenever I see it.
It makes me happy.

Ruh roh, the animationists at Cartoon Brew are calling a 15-yard penalty for unoriginality. It seems a month ago they featured a short short animation with the same bright idea... And, yeah, I like the toon better myself.

It's still safer than catblading, last time I tried that, I ended up unexpectedly on top of the refrigerator, unable to get my feet unstrapped in time to avoid a terrifying wall grind to a window-sill and then through the potted plants and under the bed.
I was bruised and broken for weeks after that particular misadventure.

All I could think about were all the wipe out reels where boards get broken in half or some skater gets really annoyed at being unable to or failing a trick and break their boards. =(
