Why Usama bin Ladin has little to fear from American intelligence Is this an example of an "intelligence leak?" (From Jul/Aug, '01 Atlantic)

There seem to have been an awful lot of "intelligence leaks" over the past few days. Most notably the constant updating of our progress or lack thereof in the investigations. Now, we keep hearing stories about people breaching airport security, which would only encourage terrorists, I think.

But, also, considering that bin Laden is "the most wired terrorist" around, would articles such as these be part of the counterterrorist effort?

So it is bad behavior to point out a double post nowadays?

Thanks for the post, prozaction. Now I'm going to go build my bunker.

This earlier post has a very interesting article with a slightly different take on the issues at hand.

I don't think these articles are intelligence leaks per se. But I do think bin Laden is probably reading them, or some of his folks are. If it makes him feel safter, well, Ok. If it makes us work harder, that's cool too.
