Ever wonder what it'd be like to be carried around in a lion's mouth? Now through the wonders of technology (and a camera stealing big cat) you can experience it for yourself!

Wasn't this:

A Siegfried and Roy episode?
A scene from Faces of Death?

Well, that's an incredible mix of adorable and terrifying that I didn't expect. If I'm ever mauled by a big cat I fully expect to make a noise that sounds like "AwwwwwwwwoWWW!"

Alternatively, if the big cat is too terrifying, here is a smaller one being hugged by its mom. [warning: totally unrelated to main link, but stupidly cute]

the similarities to the ways in which my kitties play with an object and carry it around the house are just soooooo striking :)

So cute it should be listed on Schedule I.

The Name Brand camera just happened to covered in something that made the lion lick and bite it, and the authors just happened to find the Name Brand camera after the lion had carried it a significant distance away.

I know, I know, it's cool footage and all, but it's all just a little too perfect. I invoke the MeFi Hammer of Dubiety and the Perpetual Cloak of Snark!

I'm surprised by how many bugs that lion had around it. Blegh.

I just watched this video on my Samsung monitor, and I'm now leaving this comment using my Acer keyboard and Acer mouse. Great video!

It's insightful commentary like this which keeps me coming back to the MetaFilter community web log where I always find the best of the web.
