Heh. I was hating this, when suddenly: CHAT ROOM BOOM.

Then I was liking this.

I'm not positive, but my money's on nope.

Well, I do speak a little bit of Spanish, and while I´m too lazy to translate the whole thing, I can tell you this much: It`s about The Internet.

¡Me gusta!

However, it is best if you start at the beginning for the throwback dial-up handshaking sounds.

Does this video make any more sense if you speak Spanish?

The lyrics talk about all the stuff you can do on the internet, but doesn't explain the visual concept of the video.

Something about opurtuna, which seems not to be a reference to work-at-home schemes, but rather to general timeliness.

I second birdherder. It tells basically says that you can do anything in there, while reminding you of the helpful .com.mx termination for Mexican webpages. The video makes no sense, while the song kind of does. Kind of.

This makes me sad the North/South American nations cannot enter Eurovision.

north and south america invented rock n roll, the blues, jazz, salsa, techno, house, tango, bossa nova, reggae, cumbia etc etc etc

we don't need no stinkin' eurovision

i speak spanish but too lazy to transcribe and translate. it's what it says on the tin and visuals --internet, youtube, google, porn. the basics.

you know ... the minute i saw this i was like ...hmmmm, this has to be made by mexicans. and sure enough, there's a .MX in there (and the accent is "standard" DF).

and people think puerto ricans are weird :D

Europe invented musical notation.

Sure, but that happened several years before I was born.

forgot to say why i immediately thought this came from Mexico: there's like the opposite of "cholotude" in Mexico. i call them "Mexipsters" : hipsterism with a mexican flava. you know, lots of polyester, El Santo masks, Chapulin Colorado tshirts, Pedro Infante pornstaches, that sort of thing :D

i'd blame CAFé TACUBA, but they're too awesome a group (actually, my all time favorite rock latino band). but when i see this video i think of their videos. also, MALDITA VECINDAD. it's really a hipsterish style specific to México. if you look at videos of Calle 13 (but for this video they shot with Café Tacuba) or Tego Calderón (Puerto Ricans), their look and feel are very different.

so ... ahem ... hipsters are not just specific to the US. they're truly of América :D
