That's the way to take magic out of Caturday. Sheesh.

Subsite? Hell, I would pay $5 to join catfilter.com

Maybe get the intern on that.

I fucking knew it.

Loved the casting, especially the contrast between the hollow, red-rimmed burnout eyes of the head writer and the stupid-behatted glee of the pre-production supervisor.

Maybe this video will help my flatmate's cat like me.

Had I known all along that all those cat videos were done by professionals, I never would have spent the past five years trying to capture something funny.

Anyone want 4 cats and a video camera?

I think they captured the spirit of Cheezburger Network pretty well, don't you?

During the 'keynote speech', I was looking forward to the "Oh, and one more thing ..."

Disappointed!

can someone please help me find the video they showed a tiny clip of during the hieroglyphics part, the terrified looking orange tabby with the creepiest running style ever? because that tiny snippet made me laugh so hard my head snapped back on my neck like the dude in the reach toothbrush commercials. ow. heeeeee.

briank, your link points to a spammer's reupload of the original.
It's too bad there's nothing like TinEye or Google Goggles for video search, so one could find the original source with a few frames.

When a man, or a woman, loves their cat very, very much, sometimes they have a camera.

Don't get me started on the Cheezburger Network. I had a very bad experience working with them and I feel ripped off over the whole thing. I still get emails from unhappy customers asking why something stopped working.

Ok, I lost it at "We used to be Industrial Light and Magic".

That was actually pretty funny. They also used my favorite freaked out kitty video at the end - Frankenstein Cat.

Load video. View freaked out kitty walking in freakishly improbable shape. Hit number 3 on keyboard. Repeat. If I do that long enough I'd probably give myself a stroke laughing.

Tzarius I've found so many reuploads of cat videos on youtube there seems to be no way in finding the actual 'original' (and most of them I watched PRE-youtube, so god knows where they were hosted before then). The sidebar is often screenshots of the same video over and over, no sound effects or anything new added. Just the same video.

Is this satire or for real?

Yep. I still get frightened if I make the mistake of reading the comments on YouTube videos.

I blame Google. It was the first hit I got for "Frankenstein cat video". Sorry.

That was a lot less humouous than I thought it would be.

I said that last time I went to my local Moroccan. I just hate it when they don't give you enough humouous

Oh man, I hadn't made the connection to Cheeseburger in my head, but now that I have, the sketch is even funnier. I loved, loved, loved the writer's room. I've been in that room. Well, not *that* room. That room had windows. Lucky bastards.

I concur with the intense-eyed writer vs enthusiastic pre-production guy. Also, that writer looks like Doofenschmirtz.
