Worth it for that slow-mo pan past the low-rent slip-n-slide.

Wow, it's really neat to see slow-motion where the camera and the subject is moving. Usually with the Phantom setups people put them on a stand and leave them there. Really adds to the drama.

I'm not sure I like the way they corrected the blown out highlights to pink, though. Hopefully the final spot will handle that a little more gracefully. Still, this was beautiful.

Really, really lovely.

Also enjoyed this bit from the blog: "As the day went on, I got more and more ambitious and ended up riding a skateboard down the street with the Flex in order to get a shot of the skateboarders riding into the sunset. It was just one of those shots that I knew was really stupid to do, but I think it was worth it in the end...you guys can be the judge of that...One of things I am learning more and more is that you really have to do some stupid stuff in order to push the envelope"

Neat, although I don't get what Brooklyn has to do with it. Flying water drops are available all over the world. (Also, the guy and his facial hair at the beginning made me nostalgic for Scooby-Doo.)

That's easily that most impressive shot in this piece. Especially with the switching of slo-mo speeds dynamically along with the trajectory of the skateboard. Bravo.

The part where the kid landed the kickflip made my crappy old joints wince sympathetically. Excellent though, I really liked this. Thanks!

Very enjoyable. So, they went ahead and skateboarded with a camera that costs $2,500... a day to rent (Phantom Flex product page). That's pretty darn impressive.

Ouch!
