I'm making a concerted effort only to add signal to threads, but really all I can here is fucking ow.

That is... Yow. 32 seconds before my brain asploded.

My mind is like the character Donald Miller in the 2008 film Doubt; things have been done to it but I don't know what. I have doubts...I have such doubts.

My mind is like Donald Sutherland pointing, mouth agape, with wordless horror. 22.05 seconds.

It said Pong and I clicked it.

It hates the mac trackpad gestures, so it was even worse for me.

Where are my Atari wireless remotes the size of a Coke can when you need them?

While I wait for this to load, is this going to drive me mental like HATETRIS, or is this a new kind of horror?

It hasn't even loaded, and I'm already going nuts.

I like stuff that seems to load and doesn't. what's everyone's problem?

Can someone describe what's supposed to be happening with this thing, so I can determine whether I'm being frustrated by what it's doing or by what it's failing to do?

Whup, no, never mind, got it. 19.684.

Pendulum: a self-competing pong game (ie you control both paddles, they're lined up and when you move the mouse, they both move) where every time the ball hits a paddle, something crazy happens. Paddle sizes change, the screen flips upside down or sideways, controls reverse, there's a kitten video playing in the background, etc. :)

And that's more for anybody else who can't get it running than you specifically, since I failed to preview. :P

Okay, finally loaded... 54 seconds.

Whoa! I'm actually fairly impressed that this isn't implemented in Flash.

Once I turned off the 2-finger scrolling on my Mac, I liked this. But I hate the super long wait time to restart the game.

Okay, that wasn't even fair when it started turning around...

Jesus. My brain.

I keep playing it because of the kittens and the Eduard Khil though...

Hi guys,
sorry about the loading times. My server almost exploded by the amount of traffic from you guys and b3ta :). I've turned on caching which hopefully makes things run a little faster.

Here's a direct link to the game:
http://content.365dagenkunst.nl/projects/mentalpong/

It's all HTML5 and only tested on Firefox, Safari and Chrome. Should work in IE9 too, so try any of those browsers if you're having trouble running the game.

I actually liked this a lot. ...and it took me an embarrassing number of tries to realize I was playing both sides.
