How to Use This Site: On TKN you’ll find original news articles on topics that are timely, relevant and intriguing. They are written for an elementary and intermediate school audience (grades 2-8) and can be used easily by kids, parents, and teachers.

Thank you for this! After being unemployed for a bit, my guy found a job in a middle school. Up until now he's only taught high school. So this will really come in handy.

I wish I had something like this when I was growing up. My dad always nagged on me to read the newspaper (ACTUAL PHYSICAL PAPER) but I wouldn't. Only when I hit university did my obsession with news/media take over.
