On March 15, 1993, The Truth Commission for El Salvador published its report From Madness to Hope: the 12-year war in El Salvador. The Commission attributed the assassination of Archbishop Óscar Romero to the death squads, as well as the deaths of the victims of the El Mozote Massacre. ... Five days after the commission issued its report, the Legislative Assembly of El Salvador approved an amnesty law covering all the violent events of the war.

Vibrissae: "Ronald Reagan, terrorist."

Not that there aren't tons of reasons to dislike Ronald Reagan, but Romero's death falls on Jimmy Carter's shoulders. Sad to say that atrocities committed by the US government know no party.

Of the five officers later found responsible for the rape and murder of these women [American nuns], three were graduates of the United States Army School of the Americas. According to the Pentagon, the mission of the school is to train the armed forces of Latin America, promote military professionalism, foster cooperation among multinational military forces, and to expand the trainees' knowledge of United States customs and traditions.
Now known as the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation, the school is certainly doing a great job of expanding the trainees' knowledge of United States customs and traditions,

Maybe that's why the linked page does not mention Romero, but discusses reasons to 'dislike' Reagan, including his actions with respect to El Salvador.

It does quote Naomi Klein mentioning Romero, but not in the context of Reagan.
