A Claptrap is making it dusty in here?

I've never had so much respect for a game developer or any company as I do for Gearbox, and they just keep on justifying that.

Just uh, avoid bringing up Duke Nukem Forever.

(I blame George Broussard for DNF a lot more than Randy Pitchford and Gearbox, but you don't have to go out of the way to defend that shit, guys.)

.

What a cool and sweet thing to do. Next time I hear a Claptrap repeat, "I'm dancin', I'm dancin'!" I'll try not to get so frustrated.

This has been a thing for like, forever.

In Airwarrior, airfields would be named after noted virtual pilots. In WoW, there are statutes and memorials as well - this one is particularly touching.

On in particular that stands out for me is Terry Naughton. I joined the Air Warrior community right around the time of his death in 1996 - I never knew him in any real sense. But his writings - archived here - are a real gem.

The best are "I go Diving Down" and "I was there", which talks about his time working for NASA in the late 50s.
