Yes, that was some beautiful footage; a stark contrast to what we are used to being fed here in the u.s.

Yes, beautifully shot, but I want hear the conversations, see the people dynamics and just be among them, even if only in film, without the carefully staged production.

I had downloaded a copy of Restrepo, and opened the file at a random point to check if it worked. That country is vertical! No wonder you can't win a war there.

The guy feeding the pigeons by the mosque reminded me of Sarajevo.
In a way it's weird, I was just watching NatGeo's 'The Last Days Of Bin Ladin, and before that a seemingly endless series of films about U.S. Forces in Afghanistan. I have seen some of Restrepo as well.
I thought this film was good.
People who are going through Hell and trying to maintain their dignity seem to all have the same look.
