I enjoy Tay Zonday as much as the next guy, but this track isn't nearly as bumpin' as Chocolate Rain or Internet Dream.

Why does he move his face away from the mic?

I step away from the mic to gasp in wonderment.

Boh-Mount, that girl is an internet sensation on her own right. She's Lindsey Stirling, aka lindseystomp. You haven't lived unless you haven't heard her lambada rendition.

My main concerns are twofold. Why does Tay look disturbingly like Janet Jackson? And his hair. How did that happen?

Unlike Chocolate Rain, this song has a chorus! I enjoyed it unironically.

The Mormon violinist is amazing. lol.

Huh. I'm not really sure what to say exactly, It was pretty entertaining, certainly unusual but about what you would expect from Tay Zonday, I guess...

xigxag, she seems quirky and fun, but those shoes are like toilet paper sticking out of the back of your pants... ruins every outfit!

Laughed at the Dr. Pepper commercial, enjoyed the main link to the end, but lindseystomp was quite a find. Thanks.

That's ok, the important thing is that you leave a comment, any comment at all.

So, Zeitgeist as performed by Tally Hall?

Seriously, though, that was... kind of badass.

The joke's gotten beyond me, I think. I thought it was "there's a guy who sounds like Barry White with a horse sitting on his chest, but he's actually a smallish nerd. And he's singing some inscrutable song that might describe a sex act involving diarrhea. And he's accompanied by a Casio keyboard in 'demo' mode."

Clearly that's only going to work once, especially after you remove the "German Cinema" theme. Is this funny because he performs with the emotional involvement of an autistic carp? Fill me in. I WANT TO BELIEVE!

I like the song, and while the lyrics make sense, I would like some citations to back it up just on principle.

YES. For me, Tay just went from sympathetic trainwreck to my new favorite artist! Clearly, he makes music to please himself, which is great. But this song has analysis, which is fucking awesome!!! I only hope he continues in this direction.

It's not supposed to be funny. Did you even follow the lyrics? They're right there on the screen.

I was suggesting that mr. Zonday's work is so lacking in artistic merit that it must be a joke presented earnestly. My apologies for not making that clear.

as for the lyrics, he's closer to Billy Ocean than Billy Bragg.
