Lack of Black Thought, Nas, Tupac and O.D.B. cause it to fail at Tin-Do-ery.

Not to be a dick but... If Diddy is in the top two rows of your favorite rappers list, then you are vague on the definition of either "favorite" or "rapper".

wish there was a way to trigger all of these from the keyboard.

no women. :( but still a fun little sound board.

Kiablokirk: It's alphabetical, and the word 'favorite' is neither used nor implied.

This is shit. Method's should be "move in on your left". Diddy's should be "take that", and Busta Rhymes doesn't have one. But I guess at least they got Pusha T's and Big Sean's.

I like other rappers better.

Signature catchphrases from a few rappers I could get instrumentals for your favorite rappers.

While it's hard to fault "whoop" and "swag" for Lil B, I'm disappointed at the lack of "barrangkadang".

Yeah I saw this a couple weeks ago. The ideal version would have an '80s page ('cause come on, Run-DMC; right now Flavor Flav's just standing there all by himself), a '90s page and a post-2k page. But kinda fun.

This should be a Concentration^ flash game where you have to find the matching rapper heads, and only when you get a match do you get the sound clip. It would be more street, that way.

There is too much Drake on there for this to be my favorite rappers. And by "too much" I mean "more than zero."

Not enough Kanye but surprisingly useful for my spouting hip hop catchphrase needs.
posted by Ghostride The Whip at 7:56 PM on November 21, 2011

Most of them sound like they are clearing their throats. That isn't a catch phrase, that's just some plegm.

This will be awesome when someone actually makes a real one.

I, too, wish this was an option. Making some silly beats and songs out of these would be hilarious.

Not one member of A Tribe Called Quest is represented? Are you fucking kidding me? There are also no female rappers. What a sorry excuse for a rap sound board.

juicy j is part of three six mafia! while they may be famous for winning an oscar for "hard out here for a pimp" they also made this glorious track (NSF-almost-anywhere, but it has the lyric "ya'll softer than grandmas and ladybugs"... it is hilariously offensive). (...i'm always looking for an excuse to post "don't violate")

Y'all need to get out more. This thread is like a massive list of Rap For People Who Don't Normally Really Like Hip Hop All That Much.

Anyway, I will even forgive the inclusion of Drake on this page simply because it has E-40's "uh!" E-40 is the shit, and everyone here should go listen to him now. “Internet tough guys? FUCK 'EM!"

No, this site is really lacking. But I'm guessing it's still in development so hopefully they'll be adding to it with time. Starting with Havoc.

Looks like it's not done yet, y'all. The "favorite" bit is in the post framing.

I like this idea, however:

I find it strange that there are TWO Young Jeezy heads and neither of them say any of the following:

"Eyyyyyy!"
"Let's get it!"
"Yeeeeahh"
"thas riiiiight"

Because that's pretty much all he does in place of rapping for most of his songs.

The less said about the insultingly poor showing for Biggie Smalls, the better.

They should have The Human Beatbox up so you can get a beat going underneath all these 'soundbites'.

Juicy J is such a guilty pleasure of mine. Slim Thug, Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka, Pusha T, and Lil Scrappy too.

On the other hand Kanye, Drake, Jay-Z and Diddy would be doing the world a favor if they disappeared.

I guess what it comes down to is that Southern rap is far superior. Personal opinion, of course.

And, as I think about it, many of my favorite rappers don't really have catchphrases.
