Sadly these days most of us have traded in our ancient pancake knowledge for instant mixes, or even worse, we've given up our robes all together to search out-there(sic)for what we ought to have in-here(zoom into inside of Alton's robe).

Top cash paid for a videotape of this unforgivably forgotten classic!

Oh thanks a million, briank! :-)
As the great Flap Jack man says: "Before you start scooping, cover up your canister"...
Please help keep this post pancakey.
I've tried the recipe many times and even reading it piles on the pounds. Speaking of which, Sudama: what quantities would you recommend? And what sort of calories and carbs are we talking about?

By the way, Good Eats, is the Food Network's best show. It's definately geek cooking when Alton Brown does it. Thanks for that link Miguel.

Doesn't anybody eat Ice Cream any more?

I'm all about the pancakes, but I don't think it is right to politicize them.

Flag one down is right, CrazyUncleJoe.
That's really easy when you're on the wrong side of the Atlantic, you sadist.
