They totally left out "Ugh, I'm on my period" and "These shoes hurt my feet" and "I wonder if it's on sale." Maybe that's in part two, when the release the companion video, "Shit guys do"...a photo montage of socks on floors, wandering eyes, and objects without caps.

no women in my life talk about this. the last woman in my life i talked to talked about how much she wanted to kill children, and the woman before that was about some money thing, and the one before that was reminding me of a academic lunch, and the one before told me she was picking someone up from the airport, and the one before that about weekend plans.

Some of these, I think, give some interesting insight into how girls are socialized differently from boys. Towards the beginning, almost all of the "shit" has to do with sharing. Sharing tasks ("Hey, can you get my purse?"), sharing thought processes ("Oh, what's my password again!"), sharing experiences ("Let me read you this e-mail!"), etc. This, apparently, is a feminine thing to do, implying that boys are socialized to not do this. If that's true, it makes me really sad for all the little boys being taught (implicitly or explicitly) that sharing is too girly for them.
And then, as the video goes on, it just turns into stupider cliches. I've never in my life seen two women go up to each other, bounce in place while clasping arms, and screech.

It's not funny. It's not what girls really say. Saying it all as a guy dressed in drag is the moral equivalent of blackface.
Oh, and girl is a child. Adult females are generally referred to as women.

It's funny, I laughed. I liked the eating potato chips bit at the end -- wildly funny to me.
Has that shit ever come out of this girl's mouth? Sure, yeah, but that doesn't mean shit about who I am as a person. Even if I can relate to some degree about what they're poking fun of, it's not who I am or what I do, nor does it demean me in any way.
