Special Snowflakes

Star Wars Snowflakes (with patterns). Star Trek Snowflakes (without patterns).

You'll need to learn how to fold a six-pointed snowflake to make these. You may also need a craft knife.

The worst part is cleaning up the mess of tiny paper bits after you're done. IT'S A SCRAP!

I made a speeder scout for my kid but forgot to give it to him because we got caught up in watching the Holiday Special.

The snowflake looks good, though.

Incorporating the Imperial gear symbol into the center is a really classy touch.

These are the snowflake details you're looking for. You can go about your decorating business.

(But where's Binks, the most specialist snowflake of all?)

No Star Trek patterns? Why, was there a pattern buffer overload?

I LOVE this post and am totally making some of these. And Star Wars was always better than Star Trek. Well, the old Star Trek. TNG was good. /end derail

Awww. Who knew Darth Vader could be so cute?!

Wasn't that pretty much considered one of the big problems with the prequels?

These are awesome and are definitely going in the "send to boyfriend allegedly as a 'see this neat thing' but really as a passive aggressive move that he'll do some for my little art talent having, even less dexterity having self" pile.

I made the scout trooper snowflake yesterday and after I forgot to give it to shorty, I put it on the tree.

He passed it probably 15 times this morning until one time he stopped, got wide eyes, pointed and said "What's that?" He obviously knew what he thought it was. He just wanted confirmation that he wasn't just seeing something familiar in a random pattern.

Anyway, a hit with the little SW junkies.
