A Very Calvin and Hobbes Christmas Nifty little YT short recreating some of the classic Calvin and Hobbes snowmenagerie.
This is brilliant. Just brilliant.

I don't know what it is about my childhood love of Calvin and Hobbes.. I so deeply respected Watterson's position. Any representation of Calvin and Hobbes that didn't come from Watterson's hand simply does not count. What's the sense? Just open up one of the books. This is not Calvin and Hobbes. As much as I'd love to appreciate it I simply can't. It's sort of like Kermit with the fake voice. Am I alone on this?

That being said, this is a tribute, and a rather lovely one as well. It doesn't pretend to be the genuine article.

Just sent this to my whole family.
When I was overseas for a year, my dad cut Calvin and Hobbes out of the paper everyday, dated them, and posted them to me.
