It's rare that I see something that takes me past admiration and into jealousy.

But oh good grief, does this ever do it.

the last time was in SNL's Chronicles of Narnia rap. I was so angry at myself for not having thought of the "dropping Hamiltons" line..

But this is just genius.

HANNAH! DID YOU TAKE MY GINGER ALE?! OH YEAH, 'CAUSE I HAVE A LOTTA THINGS – NO I DON'T, I HAVE GINGER ALE! I HAD GINGER ALE, AND THEN YOU DRANK IT!

I know this is gonna make me a killjoy, but while I did like this, I would have liked a tighter, shorter version of it a whole lot better. The first thing that would have gone was the whole Kill Bill music montage, which isn't very funny and is really, really dated. You could have shaved a minute and a half off the thing right there, and it would have been much improved for it. I fear that bloated, never-ending SNL skits may have seriously fucked with a whole generation's comic timing forever.

Let's just hope Michael Bay never gets a hold of the concept...

I dunno, kittens, I know what you mean but I enjoyed every minute of it.

kittens for breakfast, if this is indeed an NYU thesis film, they were required to make the running time over 15 minutes. I thought they actually succeeded in sustaining the comedy and did a much more brilliant job than the usual SNL skit where they beat a joke to death.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Well, then, yeah. I too had to write the occasional 5000-word paper that would have been a great 1500-word paper. I'd still like to see an edit! Or, barring that, a feature. This could really go either way, I think.
