Meh. No Bio Force Ape.

Okay, this is pretty cool, and a definite relief after The Lost Levels basically stopped updating, ever.

I'm curious about the subject, but wouldn't really know what to look for. Any really infamous gems I should read about here?

Maybe not on this website, but it's pretty important that you know about Duelin' Firemen

I would say the basically finished Star Fox 2 is one of the more important unreleased games.

The Cutting Room Floor is another site that deals with aspects of released games that were cut out of the final release. They have some very detailed articles. (previously)

Just as a heads up, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware blocks this site as potentially malicious. Could be a false positive, but thought I'd mention it. Can anyone tell me if they talk about Interplay's attempt at Fallout 3, code named Van Buren? I'm not even sure if you could count it as unreleased anymore, since most of the major plotpoints and characters got rolled up into New Vegas.

Always disappointing to find "64" as a referent to the Nintendo 64 era rather than the Commodore 64.

There are actually tech demo builds of Van Buren floating out there on torrent sites - not the full game, but chunks made to show the engine and some basic mechanics.

Yes! There's actually a LOT on the site (including a currently incomplete page on Bio Force Ape). You can search for titles, or browse betas and cancelled videogames by console. Seriously, there's a TON on here. I retract my earlier snarky comment (though their Bio Force Ape page is not as detailed as Lost Levels write-up).
