Seems cappuccinos may remove the need for those nasty silicone implants. I think I need to buy some Starbuck's stock. And Victoria's Secret, too.

I somehow doubt the validity of this.

"It's as if the weight is being drawn to my boobs. I can't explain it - the only thing I've had more of is cappuccino," she added.

helloooo...the only thing she's had more of is milk; be it steamed or frothed. last time i checked, milk alone or with espresso isn't an enzyme for breast growth. taking a pregnancy test would make more sense.

She used to drink strong black espresso at her pub, the Frog And Forget-Me-Not, but changed to cappuccino for the sweeter taste.

the sweeter taste of a cappuccino...which contains no sugar?

bah. no wonder she works at the "Frog And Forget-Me-Not". her knowledge of coffee seems to be on par with Ananova's grasp of the news.

the busty barmaid in question was only nineteen. sure, she's long since left puberty, but i can verify from personal experience that such a transformation is not that uncommon.

then again, i did drink a lot of coffee in college...

caffeine stimulates breast growth, in the form of cysts.

Don't scoff - exactly the same thing happened to me. Except that instead of cappuccino it was beer, and instead of my breasts it was my stomach.

Well, it was my breasts a bit.

Please, for the love of god, no more Ananova links.

CRS: do yourself a favor and don't invest in Starbucks. unless you sincerely enjoy beans that have been in a warehouse for up to 6 months sometimes (in stores and their cafes).

fight the power.

mudskunk, that was hilarious. an acquiantance of mine has a nice rack due to drinking. shame it's a dude.

Why, oh why, did she need cappucino?

then again maybe the abnormal growth is not from caffeine but from the milk via Bovine Growth Hormone

Please, for the love of god, no more Ananova links ...unless they are among the 50% about a 19yo's breasts...keep them coming

Yeah, I know ananova isn't exactly a reliable news source, but the story did contain two elements I particularly enjoy: coffee & breasts (female, that is, not man-tits).

but for the men who want boobs, here's an alternative

Umm, did anyone bother to check if the rest of her body also grew proportionately to her augmented cup sizes? Boobs are just milk ducts and fat, ya know...she's probably a bit meatier all around now.

no, no, she lost half a stone.

Lactose is a sugar. Hence the -ose ending.

1. What the hell is "a stone" in non-british-slanguage terms?

2. I bet she took Bloussant or one of those equally annoying commercials on the tele.

This is so obvious. She must have had her 12 cappacino's with soy milk which is estrogenic. If I shaved my chest I could become a wet nurse if I drank that much soy.

one stone is 6.35 kg. So, she dropped about 3 kilos.

good point kindall. however, a well-made cappuccino should not taste sweet by default. it should be a tender balance of the "sweetness" of milk, and the bitterness of the espresso.

Common misconception that all sugars are sweet. The term 'sugar' is frequently applied to monosaccharides and lower oligosaccharides. It has nothing to do with "sweetness."
