Snowflake Cultivation

Linden Gledhill is trying to grow snowflakes in his garage by passing 2000 volts through a cold moist chamber, as previously achieved by a team at Caltech

So far there has been no snowflakes, but he has succeded in growing some great ice crystals.

Somehow, "2000 volts", "cold moist chamber" and "in his garage" just seems to me to be the stuff of a future Darwin Awards entry, know what I'm sayin'?
